With its various projects since 2011, the association “ensemble liberte” stands for cosmopolitan and intercultural work in the Basel area. With concerts such as the Yiddish-Hebrew-Arab bridge project "a bissele glik", the workers' songs "La Tabbacara", the program "MENSCH!" or a combination of prayers for peace from the time of the Thirty Years' War - "make me an instrument of your peace" - the ensemble of young, engaged people of different origins and backgrounds has made a name for itself as a project choir, not only dedicated to a repertoire off the beaten path, but also musically pointing to world events.
